“My wife and I took a car trip through the Chevennes in our Smart Roadster in the summer of 2023. Enjoying the beautiful views, I wanted to park the Smart. But I overlooked a ditch and the car slowly sank into it. I wasn't going to get that out on my own. Luckily some nice ladies stopped by who were actually picking mushrooms. They called Damien, the manager of La Maison des Cévennes. He would certainly know what to do. Long story, short story. Damien came, arranged a few more people and so the Smart got back on the road. Thanks to the extremely friendly and spontaneous help from the people on the mountain, we got back on our way. If all the people in the world were as kind and helpful as the people on this mountain, the world would be a better place. Damien, the mushroom pickers and others. Chambre très propre, agréable et avec une excellente literie. Dîner et petit déjeuner de qualité, savoureux et copieux. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement.
